I am trying to sell my car because I now have my new car......so I am looking
for a quick sale. This means that I am open to sensible offers on my Scooby
(i will let you know if it's a yes or a no).

The exact model is a Japanese MY97 Impreza WRX STi Version III Facelift. It
has the following features:

- 280+ BHP
- Tracker Retrieve Fitted / 'Thatcham Category 1' Sigma alarm (Certificate, spare key fob.etc)
- Rear Wash/Wipe
- Scoobysport Exhaust
- Clear side-repeaters
- Colour Coded Door Handles / Clear Indicators
- Electrics Windows (Front & Rear) & Electric Wing Mirrors
- Up rated (larger) Brake Discs/Pads
- Suspension worth £thousands - a unique 35-point, adjustable, Ohlins Shock
Absorbers - Including FULL instructions in English & Japanese (Famous
throughout Indycar, Paris-Dakar & World Superbikes)
- Has Pirelli P-Zero Assimetrico 205/50 ZR16's tyres all around
- Serviced every 3,000 miles / I have always used Super Unleaded or Optimax
- MOT Due May '05 & depending on what price is offered I will leave my tax
on it (runs out 11/04)
- It has loads and loads (a huge file full) of history, from the day the
car was born to now !!

It has done just over 108,000. The main worry that people would have about
a car with this mileage is the head gasket going....you don't have to worry
about that because this was sorted out about 2mths ago.....I had new head
gaskets (also had the heads skimmed), new water pump, new rocker cover
gaskets oil, filters, new plugs, new gaskets & coolant pipes (and most other
pipes), etc...New Cambelt....basically the engine was taken out and given a
good engine overhaul (costing just short of £2000)

Like I said above, I am open to sensible offers...

It's a nightmare.....my new car is now on the ship and on it's way over from Japan, I have just had to pay the outstanding balance, I was relying on the sale of my car to pay for the o/s balance, but I have had to ask my dad for it.... :confused: :rolleyes:

I think that 2 of the reasons why scoobys arent selling on here in my opinion is either 1,people are possibly over pricing there scoobys when selling them (as you can see from the autotrader buyers have alot to choose from and can choose to be fussy) or 2 possibly in your case P5TPB people dont want to approach sellers who havent put a price tag on there cars in case they offend them with an offer

The price I am looking for is around £6500 ono. I was originally thinking
of the £7K mark, but I have just had to pay the final outstanding balance on
my new car (which came to £6650) so I have happy to receive offer for
around £6.5K
