Hi,

I recently bought a Laguna II and the stereo/speaker combination is pretty crap. The stereo has a seperate read out screen on top of the dash and steering wheel mounted controls, so I dont want to change the head unit. I dont know much about sound systems, but I was thinking that an amp might help solve my problem? The question is though, will it make a noticeable difference with the standard speakers in the car, or will I have to replace these aswell.

Im not interested in a massive bass sound or anything, just being able to listen to music/radio etc at a decent quality when turned up a bit.

Thanks for any help,

Steve

I'm sorry, really I am.....

Amp for a laguna? Sounds like a fair swap!

(I'll get my coat)

You'll probably find 90% of the problem is the speakers and amping them will make it worse....

(best advice is to find out if they have RCA outputs, so that you could link an amp to those, or find a small sub\amp combo (maybe those infinity basslink or similar) that sits under your seat, and will accept speaker level inputs.

Cupramax - thats what I was asking mate, as I dont know much about this stuff. So would better speakers make more of a difference then?

Cheers

Steve
