Hi,

I was following one of these yesterday and was impressed by its acceleration. I admit I had to give it some to keep up although I don't think I could take over one.

I've tried to look for the specs on Audi's website but no joy. Anyone know the specs 0-60... FWD or RWD or AWD???

Sorry it dosn't exist yet, so you either saw a A3 with a badge on or MTM's special one off with a RS4 engine in it.

The S3 is a supercharged 1.8 with 225bhp as standard (the same engine as the TT) it also has 4wd. Not sure if this is the same as the RS3 - i might have thewrong end of the stick.

A friend has an S3 which has been chipped - that is quick!

I'll wager it was a modded S3 that someone has badged 'RS3', have seen a few like this and some are tuned to well over 300bhp.

But was it a new shape A3 or old shape, also there isn't even a new shape S3 yet. mind you it could have been the 3.2 V6 sport.

200+ bhp will make pretty much anything rapid

I know a few S3's going around with RS3 badges.

210 or 225 standard, 260 with just a chip. upto 350 with bigger turbo / manifold and remap.

My old S3 had 270bhp/300lbs-ft, it was rapid, Audi engines are incredibly strong and durable and can take big gains without too much trouble.

Except thats an S3 with an RS4 lookalike bumper and RS3 badges, that does not maketh an RS3
