Could anyone who's fitted a new front grill badge (or just taken off the original to paint or something), tell me how easy it is to get it off on a New Age Scoob please.

My Blue I badge will be here shortly - so I'm just getting ready for the switch.

Cheers ;)

Me too :D

I'm just going to use a hair dryer and then using a piece of cotton go down the back of the badge in a back and forth "saw" action. Then just prise off carefully.

Hope this helps

Yeah cheers mate - I had a nasty feeling it might well be screwed on which is why I asked, but if it's just glued on, I'll be fine.

Thanks ;)

Knock around and see me.

Come in have a cup of tea.

Go back out, and it will be gone.......magic.

LOL@Yoza :D

The original badges just have double sided tape to secure them in place. See image below:

Did mine on a Classic. No bother at all. MUCH heat from a hairdryer (you know, the things girls use) and a piece of 15lb fishing gut.

I didn't bother, but it might be worth a bit of superglue as well when fitting to decrease nickability, or it might be better to replace the badge rather than the grille!

Ha ha - nice one mate ;) :D:D it's not like I'll need the old one then, I'll be round at the end of the week ;)

Thanks for the help guys - I've got it now so will be doing this over the weekend unless work permits otherwise ;)

Cheers

Andy
