David_Wallis 03 June 2004, 11:06 measure twice drill once ;) Put some duct tape or similar on first incase you slip... What you planning on using to drill the holes? I would use a decent quality holesaw.. ones with a bolt in arbor.. not the metal half circle squash it in job.. Dont drill the hole too small or too big!! You could allways file it a little bigger.. but you cant make it smaller hail-hail 03 June 2004, 11:53 Thanks for the reply David, I have a set of what I think i need in my drill bit kit i.e. a set of these http://www.toolstation.com/images/library/stock/webtables/33140.jpg Is this what I should use? p.s. I will be using the tape and smaller hole techniques, cheers :D David_Wallis 03 June 2004, 14:16 looks fine.. should be ok.. Just look under the bath first and ensure that the nut will fit without probs.. that the pipe will fit. and also that you can rotate the nut..
