I'm struggling trying to find a good source for a very simple passive crossover (i.e just the component wired into the + wire to the speaker). I need a high and low pass, thinking about a 500mF (micro) capacitor and a 8.3mH coil/inductor. These are for a 6dB/octave system..... cheap as chips.

Obviously these need to be easy to wire in and quite robust. Maplins have some audio grade capacitors but don't do the size i need :( . Any other places you can recommend?

Cheers,

Tony.

Tony,

I'll check to see if I can find out who sold 'em, but there was a place in London that i found that was excellent for audio grade stuff. As it stands, that isn't much help, but I'll see if I can find out :)

Cheers,
Nick.
