Question

I have just changed my standard front head light bulbs for Halfords Xenon bright bulbs.

They are now so bright compared to the standard ones. Twenty pounds well spent.

Trouble is the side lights now look pants (yellowish glow). Does anyone know if the Xenon bright bulbs are available for the side lights, and where I might be able to get them from. Halfords don't sell them.

Cheers in advance, Phill C

I did the same thing. Then I got a set of PIAA blue sidelight lamps from Graham Goode Motorsport (there must be a link somewhere round here or try SIDC link or Steve Breens site).

Now my front lights all look the same colour.

Halfords do some 'blue look' sidelight bulbs - they might do (I don't think they make them actually look blue like some of the bulbs you can get, just look like the xenon bulbs... but then again I'm not sure!) Meant to buy some today when I saw them, then forgot!

Go for the PIAA sidelight bulbs (£ 8.44 from my local dealer). Thought the same when I put Phillips Vision + in the front, the side lights looked dirty. The PIAA look blue as a bulb but the light is quite a bright white with a very very faint blue tinge. Looks Good IMHO.

PS also tried the xenon the phillips are even clearer and light further at the same cost. (ditched the halfords ones)

Demon Tweeks do the PIAA white front sidelight bulbs. No blue tinge, and they make the originals look like candles! Pair up great with Philips Vision white H4's that are also a huge improvement. If you have clear front lenses then they also do the Philips silver front indicator bulbs.

Dave, A quick job with a file to remove one of the offset pins and they fit fine. Look good too.

If you don't like the blue look, Philips also do the Vision in white, which is what I have fitted.
