spring fitting - warranty safe
Just got a quote for prodrive spring fitting from my local dealer and it shocked me a bit compared to figures I've seen on here before - about £550+VAT including parts labour and alignment.
So, can I go aftermarket but still retain my warranty?

I was quoted...
"About £200" for springs (when the subaru website says £195inc vat)
"About £150" for fitting
"About £100" for alignment
Which is extortinate but still chapers than yours !. The alignments alone costs under £50 from reputable places (inc 1.5 hours for adjustments). The fitting should be under 2 hours for an experienced mechanic in a well-equipped work shop.
I think Subaru should publish "fitted" prices for their WR accessories.

I'd like menu pricing on servicing and specific parts, like springs. Common sense IMO.
I got quoted 4 hrs for spring fitting. Is that OTT? Someone on here mentioned about £370-400 all in, including parts, labour and alignment. Just wondered where and if its warranty safe.
