Is there any legal requirement for sidelights, I was thinking of getting rid of mine?

Sidelights are really your parking lights - which you should use for low speed stuff i.e. parking without blinding other road users (if you're parked on the wrong side of the road etc). I don't know if this is a legal requirement though. Have to look it up. Probably bestto ask Stuart H.

Is there a min power for the sidelights, while checking mine, I found 1.7W bulbs fitted !

 

1.7W - hey - the same power as Sunlip's brain!!
