The theme for round 7 is 'Water'.

Photograph anything to do with water, from an ocean to a single droplet.

Last day for entries is 31st May. Three images per photographer.

Competition entries only in this thread please - all discussions to be held here (http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?p=3336441) .

Rules:
1. No image will be greater than 800 pixels along its longest side.
2. Image overall will not exceed 120kb.
3. Image must have been taken within the competition period, which is from 16th May to midnight on 31st May.
4. Each submitter can change their posted image at any time (using edit function).
5. Maximum of three (3) images per submitter, per competition.
6. Digital manipulation is permitted in order to correct technical issues such as dust or noise on the image. It is not permitted to add or remove elements of the image or to apply digital 'effects'.
7. Image must be hosted so that it appears correctly in the competition thread and must remain so for the period of the competition including voting. Any images that do not appear correctly won't poll may votes, obviously.
8. Image must be titled but not on the image itself. I.e. some bold text naming the image should be posted at the same time as the image itself. In addition, any details of the image itself should also be posted (this is a learning exercise after all). E.g. EXIF data or maybe just aperture, shutter speed, equipment used.
9. There will be no posts in the competition thread other than those for the posting of competition images. All discussion should be held in other threads.
10. Judges decision is final.
11. Images will meet the requirements of the ScoobyNet T&Cs

this was taken before the comp started, so it's not eligible, but as I'm learning I thought I'd add it for any comments! It's been cropped to remove the houses from the top left of the picture.

Is it too late to submit? I took these on 31 May (check the EXIF info) but didn't get near a computer until yesterday. Neither is a particularly brilliant photo, but I reckon I was lucky to get them (TBH I just pointed and shot -- and only single shots, not continuous advance, too  ).
