Kev 31 August 1999, 11:48 Try the PIAA plasma blue 80/80 watt they are not too demanding on the wiring and are awsome, I've had em in my car for 9 months and was really impressed, a bit on the expensive side though they were around £65 for the pair but the light they give off was so pure white ( almost like flourecent light )and signs road markings etcb really stood out. They are off road use only but passed an MOT and followed a few MW police cars and they never tugged me for them so.....any way remember that old saying " see and be seen ".... Kev. Andy Tang 31 August 1999, 11:54 OK Stef, I admit it.... I love Pete! Just don't tell his wife, or my girlfriend!!! Were you the Stef I met at Reading meet, or was that the other Stef??? Andy Andy Tang 31 August 1999, 11:56 Kev, Where did you get the bulbs from?? Andy Andy Tang 31 August 1999, 12:58 I fitted the 130w driving lights to my car over the weekend and WOW!!! I do a lot of driving up and down the Hogs Back off the A3, and I was itching to use them! When I did, it lit up both lanes, and the grass verges either side. It lights up a fair old distance ahead too, but not too high! Switching off the main beams now, is like driving with no lights on! All I need now is some sort of headlight modification that makes the standard lights brighter! I have fitted the Halfords Xenon Blue bulbs, but they're not that great. Any ideas without buring out my loom or melting my headlights?? Andy Stef 31 August 1999, 13:03 Andy. Other Stef? You mean 'Ozzy'? I don't know if he was there, but I was (get that?). Stef. |
