Hi
Im off to Cyprus on Wednesday and was wondering if anyone knows any good places for pictures as I am trying to build up a portfolio and website (keep an eye out in teh week or so after the rally has finished as I will have shots from various Rally GB's, Corsica last year plus this Cyprus rally)
Please though, if anyone does know any good spots on the Cyprus stages, let me know.
Many thanks

I dont know any good spots, but let me know if the rally is any good - i wanna go next year!
Will do, Im hoping its a good event. I can thoroughly recommend Corsica, its one of the best run events Ive been on with some spectacular scenery/driving, and all the stages are free, the locals are really friendly and the access to the stages is easy.

I was there in 2001 and 2003, and really all stages are easy to get to with a good map and a program. Last year they ran a gold pass system at £15 (included a hat and program). The pass let you into all stages and service area. Available from the Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol.
The only stage that was busy was the water splash at Kelophos Bridge (sorry spelling for that will be wrong). But you will be able to get into all the others wiith very little walking from your car.
Johnny's bar opposite the Four Seasons is a good drinking hole, and there's a rally beach party on the final evening - again at the Four Seasons. Not so good last year, but in 2001 nearly all the teams and drivers turned up.
Enjoy yourself, I hope to get back next year.

Cheers David, thanks for that.

Anyone going to Rally Cyprus, Be Prepared to hike, take a dust mask & hope you get a half decent hire car, it's hot & rough! Good maps/programmes (at EKO garages & four seasons) & lot's of good viewing points. EXCELLENT value with last years gold pass but, not necessary (unless you really want to get into service area) no-one asks for passes at the stages.
Enjoy.

Your probably better off with a little jeep, some of the roads out there are unfinished to say the least;)
but I have to say cyprus was great fun this year, shame about the water splash.
