******************* Group Buy Closing date is 31st May *******************

I have started this Group Buy on a few other scooby sites but have had very little interest so now is the time to offer it to the Scoobynet community. I know one has recently finished, so if you missed out on that one then now's your chance.

I intend to run this Group Buy until mid/ end June or until BR Developments (www.brdevelopments.com) call time. The remapping will probably be carried out around August time - due to their massive workload and another GB recently completed.

A 3-port solenoid is also recommended to allow finer boost control (if your car doesn't have one already) and can be supplied too. The remap and solenoid will take 4 to 5 hours to fit and set up (on the road) - so we're paying for Bob's expertise and experience and I believe the price is very reasonable.

Please email or PM me to receive details of Group Buy costs.
email - terry.buckel@btopenworld.com - I will check them most evenings

You may also want to consider an uprated fuel pump and a knocklink - maybe worth a look at Group Buys elsewhere - although BRD can do a good price on a knocklink too.

Would be best to have this mod if you are running with decat downpipe.

The work would be carried out in Swindon (or possibly Richmond, Surrey) and you should be running with Optimax on the day for best results (and you'll need plenty of it...)

If you have any questions of a technical nature then I will be happy to forward them to Bob for his response.

I'll start the list. Please feel free to add your names to it to register your interest.

Revised List

1. terryb
2. svvg
3. stevef
4. spufus
5. spally (surrey)

Guys

Your right, these Group Buy costs are as follows: -

Tek3 £500 + vat (fitted) = £587.50
3-port solenoid £110 + vat (fitted) = £130.00

Usual costs

Tek3 £650 + vat (fitted) = £763.75
3-port solenoid £127 + vat (fitted) = £149.23

Making a saving of almost £200 for both parts or £176 for the Tek3 remap alone. This takes 4 to 5 hours to fit and set up (on the road) - so we're paying for Bob's expertise and experience and I believe the price is very reasonable.

If you're seriously interested then please PM me or add your name to the list.

Cheers

I'll ask the question - maybe someone else can answer who has a similar experience - I would have thought that a Tek3 would give a substantial power and torque increase - especially as you have a full decat - also it should run safer - reducing the chance of detting.

Cheers

Terry
