Default FAO WYIOC

After the good response on the idea of a monthly news letter ,I'm surprised that only 2 people have sent any content so far and the same 2 have also requested that the letter be sent to them.

If this is still a wanted item can anyone who wishes to recieve the newsletter please send me your email address with "WYIOC NewsLetter" in the header and include any content you'd like to be included.

Cheers

Phil

I've also set up a paid up members only part in the forum , to view the discounts that have been arranged so far. at the moment only myself and Alan can look at this forum.

Can Chris (HB) or Alan give me a list of people who have paid subs, so that I can grant them access to the discounts forum

Cheers

Phil

BTW newsletter nearly ready, so get sending me your addresses

Good point from Phil. If there's no interest for a mail shot, then the content may as well sit in a downloadable/viewable document, or even not be done at all.

IMO we have a lot of info available on SNET/ This forum and the website, so summaried, club speicific musings would be useful. We would need ideas and people putting the contecnt forward, so unless it's used, then Phil's just wasting his time at the mo...

Phil - Chris has the paid up members details.

Remember that unless you are a paid up memberhave, you won't be able to get the 10% discount at The Bridge and other establishments..... must get mine in then..

Hi Phil,

I had an MSN Messenger pop up the other day saying I had new mail from you, but it never got into my mailbox???? Sorry dude if this was the email asking for responses!

I also think that the newsletter is a great idea, I only wish I was any good at writing report type material to contribute. I'll have a think about it though, and see what I can come up with...

Cheers
Si

The Newsletter is now online rather than being sent as an email. Its linked in the forums (when its back online ). I used all the bandwidth today modifying the code and backing up the files

Theres also a new section that is for paid up members only (such as yourself Simon) that will be ready by tommorow evening, showing all the discounts available etc

Phil

Si or anyone with good ideas for newsletter content. By all means e-mail copy across to me if you wish, and I'll happily put it into 'newsletter speak'....

Best address is harry@pinkelephantpr.com

Did someone mention oil...

TBH I struggled a bit yesterday to find the download from wyioc.co.uk. Found it eventually, but it could do with being on the front page, or having it's own link from the main menu.

HB, did you get my email regarding the bank account? Does it have a name yet?

Phil, replied to your mail with a request for the newsletter and a (tiny) bit of content, hope it got to you.

...back to the oil

Sticky - no, not received mate. Depending on your sending address, it might have got caught by our 'aggressive' (300hp, 6 speed) spam filter.

Do you want to resend, and I'll look out for it? I'll then add you to the 'approved' (ie don't instantly vaporise) list of senders...
