i have noticed a few people are putting borders on their digital photos that make them look like negatives (black borders with yellow markings and numbers)

is there software to do this for you, or is it a case of photshopping them?

any ideas, i think it looks cool.

There may well be software available, although I'm not aware of it. It would be fairly easy to do this with Photoshop though, using Edit > Stroke to create a border and the Type tool to create the text.

Do you have a link to an example of a photograph that has been done this way?
