Hello,I need some help please.
We plan to come this year on the rally GB,but we are from slovenia and we don't know how is it with sleeping. Most important is price, because we know that hotels are pretty expensive so we would like to know if there are some other places to stay?? And maybe some reservation possibile??
Thanks
I can't help you with Hotel suggestions but if you don't mind a little bit of hardship you could always do what lots of people do here every year.
Get a rental car/van and some sleeping bags, camping equipment etc and sleep in the car at the stage. Hundreds of fans do this every year and it's a great atmosphere. It doesn't cost anything either (other than the normal ticket cost), in the evening you just drive to wherever the 1st stage is the following morning and park in the designated car park.
It should be a little warmer this year as the rally is in September, but in the past hundreds have always done it even in November! We've done it for the last 3 years and have had great fun every time.

I second that. it is an absolutely amazing atmosphere. There will be thousands of spectators like yourself in many of the forest car parks at each stage during the whole event. But if you are a light sleeper then the all night forest partys and Fireworks (iwan), may prove too much as the weekend progress. Keep in touch for a possible meet up.
lee :D
I'm wondering if the atmosphere will be anything like as good this year though...
1) No fireworks on sale in September.
2) Firewords are banned anyway, ahem
3) I guess there's an increased risk of fires due to fireworls and/or bonfires/bbqs.
4) Too hot = more people going = harder to park or get a good view?
5) No fireworks on sale in September. ;)

I'd be interested to know how much moneys worth went up last year, considering there was a no-fireworks rule. It was a constant barrage for about 5 hours on each of the nights we were in the forest - bigger than any display i've ever seen.
Of course, we didn't set any off. ;)

Last year we stayed in Swansea bay - the B & Bs are quite good, quite cheap as well...
- one piece of advise tho! DONT GO TO THE GLEVDON PARK HOTEL!
its stinks of pee and the rooms are not good! It sets a bad example of British hospitality!
check out the accommodation on the WRGB website, look for the rally village, this is great value
