View Full Version : SCOOBYECU WRX WAGON GROUP BUY
dj219957 21 April 2004, 14:07 Hello all,
As you may be aware Pavlo (or paul) sells scoobyecu chips for all classic impreza SALOONS.
For those of you with the WRX wagon with the td004 turbo a scoobyecu would not work. For it to work Pavlo would have to spend time and money developing a bespoke map.
I have recently spoken to pavlo and he has agreed for me to post a thread to see how many people would be interested in buying one of these chips if they were built. (it is not worth his while to do just one!)
The price of the scoobyecu normanlly is 100£ plus 40£ to fit to the WRX board.
So i would imagine a WRX wagon scoobyecu would cost a little over these figures fitted.
As the chip has not been developed yet no-one can say how much difference the chip would make but i would hope an extra 15-20bhp over the standard 220PS is easily achievable.
So here goes: please add names and emails to this thead so we can get some numbers and try to keep it on the first page!
REMEMBER you must have a WRX import WAGON running Td004 to add to this thread. (sorry no uk motors)
Andy
1996 WRX Wagon running Fujitsubo exhaust and Green Induction Kit
p.s this does not mean that the chips will be a definate - this is only to get numbers together.
WagonRich 21 April 2004, 14:24 I've got a standard 1995 WRX Wagon - I'm in :)

dj219957 21 April 2004, 15:25 95 WRX Wagon totaly std - i did get a map before from Scott T for a previous one
would he be able to get any more?
pblakeway 21 April 2004, 16:01 He stopped doing the scooby ecus, but i believe he passed on the map to David Wallis
David_Wallis 21 April 2004, 16:39 I'm not prepared to distribute the map due to complications with it.
dj219957 22 April 2004, 08:35 anymore?
JohnRoly 22 April 2004, 13:26 1995 WRX Wagon - Full H&S Decat - NEED A CHIP BADLY (I can then give up the Millers addiction!)
Count me in 100%
Scott.T 22 April 2004, 14:40 David,
What complications ?? Mail me
Out of the first 40 ECU's I modifed at least 6 were WRX wagons. All of which have not reported problems. These were supplied after the map was created using a WRX Wagon, Knocklink and AFR.
Wagon ECU's mapped include 3B, 1C, V9 and I think V5
Since then I have modified at least another 40 cars, of which I am sure some were wagons. Although due to a hard drive crash, I have lost my latest sales records.
David_Wallis 22 April 2004, 16:37 scott.. just hassle.. its only the wagons that are ever a problem.. easier to do the simple cars :D
I like an easy life in my spare time :D

Scott,
would you have the know-how etc to make these boards if the demand was great enough
Andy
Spoon 22 April 2004, 19:57 I know of a 96 wagon running a modified chip that works like a hooker. (when it feels like it).
I've even had endless conversations with Scott, David and Pavlo via email, only to come to nothing as all but Scott think there are problems and Scotts packed up doing it!!
I know of 2 chips required at the moment but unless the guys can communicate then there's more chance of the muppet forum becoming sensible. :D
Scott, how about another batch?
RetroR 22 April 2004, 22:46 1995 WRX Wagon, as far as I can tell only mods are Ramair Panel Filter and a H&S Backbox. Definetely be interested though
