went to pontefract last night and there was a massive car meet happening, plenty of scoobs too :) was told its the same every sunday evening. one of the car parks was being used for donut and drifting:D supras, evos, 300zx, lexus! a few others and me:D

might not be everyones cup a tea but we had a right laugh.

its at the Retail Park opposite the racecourse just out of Ponty town centre ya cant miss it.

am going up again this sunday if anyone fancies it?...

I'm there most weeks but normally go in my mates mr2 turbo for a bit of tail happy tomfoolery, think i'll take mine up this sunday for a change, its a red my98 turbo, defi guages, p1 wheels, full de-cat so u'll probably here me coming on the M62 :D

Wasn't there a big police crack down on that "cruise" some time ago? A few Sundays back (well, months ago thinking about) i was passing the race course and noticed police vans (a full row of 'em), forcing some little chav's in Nova back out of the race course and as i passed the other side of the roundabout i saw another row of police vans blocking the road just after the McDonalds turn off - it was a proper show of force... Have they given up trying to keep people away now or something? (there was a bit in the local paper about "car park abuse" too iirc)

Anyhow, i might pop down in my latest ride (since the Type RA) and show it off a little ;)

there was one or two police about last sunday who kept coming for a nosey, after all there was about 200 hundred people there, they didnt seem to concerned though everything seemed in good spirits :D see ya sunday!
