I've just bought the extra 'cubby hole' space filler from Subaru,with the intention of fitting a new cd/tuner this week,but, I'm a little worried that it looks a bit cheap and nasty.

would really appreciate any other options or pics of your installs to boost my confidence a little...don't want to make it look any worse-erer

Well I've just fitted a Pioneer DEH-6500R(couldn't afford the Blaupunct combo)

The head unit is a pretty good colour match to the fascia,even the Subaru supplied pocket looks OK

The sound quality has obviously improved,but somehow it looks 'unfinished'

there is an obvious unsightly gap arond the h/u and fascia,...am I being too fussy?or is there a way to improve this?

Mine looks similar to Spooks but the top & bottom of the cubby hole is bending in a bit at the middle, it's only about 1-2mm but it looks a bit crap.
