Hi
I've ordered a WR1 from Olympian Subaru in Poole. When I collect the car, I'll probably travel to Poole by train. Can a local please tell me how far the train station is from Olympian?
Has anyone used Olympian? Any impressions of the dealership?

Hey Nick! I visited their showroom today and spoke with the Director... is his name Martin?? I think it is... anyway, he told me this man just phoned up and bought the WR1 over the phone without even seeing it and he was from Somerset! Must be you :D
You lucky lucky barsteward :D :D All I get is an invitation to test drive it :D
Of course, that is not an answer to your question... however, Olympian have been at Wallisdown for absolutely years and years and years... that obviously says something about their company and the business they conduct.
I did however point out that they should NOT let 2CR loose on their Subaru range :D (only those able to receive the station 2CR FM will appreciate that statement!)
Hi Soulgirl
Yup that was me & it was Martin who I spoke to. :)
How far from the train station are their showrooms?
Nick,
at a rough guess, they're about 3-4 miles from the station, but it should only take about 8-10 mins in a cab!
Ron.
Thanks very much Ron.
It was just a matter of either walking, or asking them to pick me up. :)

Do you know when you are picking her/him/it up? I expect I or someone else from here can pick you up :) Either that, or get Olympian to. Ron was right, it is about 3 miles away.
Thanks very much Soulgirl
I don't have a date yet - sometime in May. :)

I asked Martin that yesterday jowdak. His answer was 'I don't see why not'. What they are not keen on doing is supplying parts for grey imports and definately not for Cypriet models.
They are aware that their insurance will not cover for the supply and fit of parts to an import so if something goes wrong, they would be liable. However, he did mention that fitting parts you supply yourself wasn't as issue either - that way, if it didnt fit or was not suitable for it's purpose, they were not to blame either but merely charge for the fitting.
Give Martin a call :)
If not, you can always call Triton out at Hurn. They have looked after me for a year now and they do all the subarus and evo's. Tel: 01202 571 564
