Talking New mods - what do you think?

I've now got my WRX MY03 fitted with;

Subaru twin headlamp kit
Prodrive performance pack (PPP)
Prodrive springs and Prodrive geometery setup
Prodrive 7 spoke 17" gold alloys
Scoobymania gauge pod with Autometer Z-series gauges (oil temp/press and boost/vac).

The Prodrive spring kit is mega and I would really recommend it to amyone with a WRX MY03.

Have a look at the piccies and let me know what you think.

Your a mindreader mate! Already in hand, should be done in next month.

What I'd really like is a nice AP 6 pot brake upgrade for the front... just a slight issue of £1,600 :-)

Very nice m8. The Subaru twin headlamp kit did not know they did one? oh well. looks nice and different for other WRX 03's!
Might i suggest a STi spoiler to finish the aggressive look!

Yes the twin headlamps are a Subaru ite, Part No. SACC2574, they are Cibie lamp units, price £385 plus painting plus fitting plus VAT.

I've never been a fan of the STi type spoiler, so haven't gone that route although I may fit some STi foglamp covers to give the front end that smoother look.

Also considering getting the wheels painted black, but am still deciding whether thats a good idea ... or not? Whaddya think?

FFS do not paint the wheels black, it will spoil a nice looking car, polished, silver or gold but not black...........

Coming on nicely, try a spoiler of S202, Type 25 origin, very nice and low too.

Love the wheels as they are, but those headlights are horrible, IMHO.

Some how, i do not think that this is not a good idea painting the Beautiful Gold Prodrive 7 spoke 17" alloys and that would look gash on a WR blue impreza WRX, but also Gold alloys looks the business on bue imprezas, so what is most of impreza drivers have gold on their subarus, well than so be it! Gold alloys is the DNA of part of an Impreza breed! (if you know what i am talking about?)

...anyway it your car and your money

but it it was my choice i would leave them as they were - GOLD-GOLD all the way!

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Guess you either love the headlights... or don't (everyones entitled to their opinion, that's what makes the world go round). Myself I like them, but possibly more to the point, it helps make the car look a little different to most other MY03/04 WRX out there.

I guess gold wheels it is then! I do like the look of the existing wheels, but it was seeing the (few) piccies of MY03 cars with black wheels, that looked pretty nice that tempted me.

I agree 18" wheels would look far better, had I known this when I had bought the car I wouldn't have gone for 17", you learn from your mistakes though - next time, eh. At least the 25mm drop at the front with the Prodrive springs has made the wheels look a tad larger with less wheel arch showing if you know what I mean.

Anyway dry day due tomorrow... time to exercise those new springs!

Thanks,

Chris.
