Welcome one and all, to the monthly get together of south mcr and cheshire subaru owners (and the odd audi owner :))
We'll be meeting at Macclesfield McDonalds just off the jnc of silk road roundabout and hulley road http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?X=392000&Y=375000&width=700&height=400&client=public&gride=392138.606467224&gridn=373526.611149008&srec=0&coordsys=gb&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&scale=10000&multimap.x=411&multimap.y=160
at 7pm sharp.
As usual, all are welcome, so come along and meet some fellow scooby nutters.
Format will be the usual one, quick chat, nice drive, pint of coke pit stop, more driving and home to bed with a big grin on your face.
If you have a 2 way radio, bring it as we use them to good effect when we get lost following supertourings directions! :)
See you there,
chris.

I'm doing home visits now! :)
Just popped round to supers on the way back from some brilliant roads between buxton and leek.
All single track country lanes, cattle grids, gates!, tractors and sheep sh*t, fantastic :)
Have a look here (http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?X=405000.866547735&Y=375000.765156&width=700&height=400&client=public&gride=405780.866547735&gridn=373567.765156&srec=0&coordsys=gb&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&scale=100000&down.x=14&down.y=18) at the roads between the A53 and A515 triangle. Loads of little country lanes, all twisty turny, sump bashing, tyre screaching hairpins.
We've been near here before, off the Ashbourne road last year, but only scratched the surface of what is available.

Supers up for it, anymore?
chris.

What time do you need to meet?

Would a meet up in Macc (MacD, Wickes car part on Silk Road) be an idea here?

Have to skip this one as I might be changing the P1 for a 22B and don't want any little mishaps whilst making my mind up :)

I'm happy to meet where I said in my last post above. It just means I will have to set off early, and go over long hill to buxton to get there.
If we meet in macc, it means me travelling to macc, then to buxton, which is the long way round.
Unless your thinking of doing the cat & fiddle from macc to buxton, then I suppose it brings us out just below the road to longnor :)

SILLYSI, DONT DO IT M8, YOU'LL REGRET IT! Think of the running costs, insurance, repair bills (1000's for a new wing *wtf*) and the major paranioa of getting it nicked.
Fantastic cars and all that, but not for me :)
Of course, if you do get one, I bagsie the first ride in it m8 :):)

Yes, meet where you said, but I will be going via Cat&Fiddle and thought others would want to as well. Hence meeting in Macc (for those that want to) we mean we all get there at the same time? (Whatever time that is????)

If it is just me and thee CW, we can meet at your original location in Buxton, rather than dragging you out to Macc.

Want to make it earlier as well, so we get some daylight and so you can get to work on time?

You lot missed out again, and just us 2 old diehards out to play :)
Lovely almost traffic free run up the cat & fiddle from macc, then a big play on the roads around longnor.
With the help of super's sat nav, we got to explore a little more too!
I am going to organise a proper run up there, do some more scouting around in the next few weeks when I get my own sat nav to log my runs.
Maybe make an evening of it as there are some nice looking pubs up there too.
We stopped overlooking the "roaches", and took a couple of pics to show you what a great evening you had missed:

I also have some good video from the evening, so I'll try to get that up this afternoon.
Thanks for the navigation super, and the brew and changing facilities after (I think I left my t-shirt at yours, can you email it to me? :))

COME ON YOU SMACS LOT, GET OUT FOR A DRIVE WITH US!! :p

see you soon guys, will be out sometime over the easter weekend, I'll post up something if I do.

Shame I missed it. Blame her indoors!

I stopped in that exact spot only a couple of weeks ago! Great road.

See you on the next one.
