View Full Version : Plus pack sticker - sticky bit on the wrong side?
ClassicScoobyJay 04 April 2004, 17:44 Having recieved my plus pack and wanting to get my 'www.scoobynet.co.uk' sticker on the back window (the long rectangular sticker) - I found the sticky bit was on the wrong side (i.e. I would have had to stick it on the outside for the lettering to be the right way round).
I got someone else to check it just to make sure I'm not being a veg, and they were just as confused.
Anyone else fitted there's yet? Is it just mine thats faulty?
No thats the way they come mate
ClassicScoobyJay 04 April 2004, 18:46 So I presume they are not meant to be stuck on a window then?
You stick them on the outside :D
Dougster 04 April 2004, 18:49 Mine is on the bottom of my reg. plate.
No reason why you can't stick them on the outside of the window!
ClassicScoobyJay 04 April 2004, 19:39 OK cool. Just seemed a little unusual thats all :)
ex-webby 04 April 2004, 20:32 Hi Jay,
The stickers go on the outside of the window as many people have tinted windows nowadays.
Regards,
Shaun.
SiDHEaD 04 April 2004, 21:46 Same as one of the SIDC stickers, external and I have that on my rear window.
Its far easier to stick it on the outside anyway, rather than trying to get it level from inside the car (curved screen etc).
Just make sure the area is properly clean before hand :)
CataIunya 30 April 2004, 18:02 Its the cheap option having the sticky on the wrong side.

It astounds me that you have so much spare time, that you've actually dug up a thread from 4 weeks ago in order to post that it is cheaper to put the sticky side of a sticker on one side rather than the other.
What a strange character you are.
Regards
Simon
CataIunya 30 April 2004, 20:23 Thanks for the personal comment Simon !

Didn't hit a nerve you silly little person... I am just marvelling at what a bizzare individual you appear to be.
CataIunya 01 May 2004, 17:12 You don't have to explain yourself to me mate.........

*Sonic* 02 May 2004, 00:08 Its the cheap option having the sticky on the wrong side.
Doesnt make sense, just reverse print, costs the same :) (I know, I get lots of stickers made up all the time)
Mine is on my rear windows, and it is tinted, oh and I was running out of places to put it too, as I have the full rally set on too :)

CataIunya has some kind of axe to grind and posts at any opportunity he / she can in an attempt to make scoobyshop, scoobynet plus, scoobynet, etc look bad. So for some reason decided to make a statement that putting the sticky stuff on one side was cheaper than the other in an attempt to say that the scoobynet stickers are cheap.
This is the reason I found it so bizzare.
All the best
Simon
CataIunya 02 May 2004, 10:38 Sheeez it was a joke.....but it takes another a poster to confirm what everyone already knows.....myself it seems a bit sad to have a sticker of scoobynet on your car since its gone ****e over the last few years I only come on here to check the for sale wanted and wind the occasional anal mod up. All in IMHO feel free to have another personal attack Simon.....
I only come on here to check the for sale wanted and wind the occasional anal mod up.
...and this isn't a little bit sad to you? :D
CataIunya 02 May 2004, 11:27 errrr no should it be ? anyway banter away at me gotta go for a day or so, some of us have a life outside of snet.....hahaha please insert witty come backs below:
Tone Loc 03 May 2004, 18:41 Simon,
Way way back when the stickers first came out i made a hash of sticking mine on and i believe others had a similar experience. IIRC at the time you (or maybe Shaun) said you weren't happy with the quality and that this would be addressed. Did this ever happen or are they still as they were.... mine still looks a bit of a mess as it wouldn't come away from the backing easily and so ended up a bit wonky.
Tony.
Made a hash of mine putting it on as I didn't realise what way round the sticky stuff was.
