22:35 Fast and Furious in Fife
Every year 20,000 petrol heads come to burn rubber and race on Scotland's only ¼ mile racetrack outside the quiet coastal village of Crail in Fife. To the racers, the Crail Thrash is a souped-up shoot-out, where first is first and second is nowhere. To the locals, it's a noisy and unwelcome invasion and they are hatching plans to shut down the operation.

It all depends how the good ol' beeb want the program come across.
A program about a bunch of enthusiasts having some fun at the weekend might not generate many viewers.
A program about decent, honest hard working residents of a sleepy seaside villages campaign against buckie swilling thugs in their novas screaming through the streets at 200 mph and all the other raping and pillaging blah blah :rolleyes: might attract some viewers.

Yeah kenny, I never knew us boys who go to Crail were so selfish ;)
I think all that programme will do is promote Crail to people who haven't been before.

It was obviously also filmed before Edzell was sorted - it all makes sense now ;)
