I fitted a few Phoenix Gold amps to my mates car the other day and for some reason they appear to be blowing the main 30 amp (gold fuses) for a past time. The smaller blade fuses are still intact all the time ????
The amps are supplied with a feed through a Phoenix gold bass cube and a remote control box to the front. We haven't got around to mounting this anywhere and wondered if this was causing the problem ?? The RJ45 connector on the remote box is a little worse for wear.
It isn't blowing fuses on the normal speakers with a line driver!!
The system is feed via a split charger through an auxilary battery, but hasn't got power caps fitted, as I'm worried about fitting them.
Oh yes and the light go dim when you turn the bass up loud. Thought the second battery might stop this ??
Help, Phill
