I have installed the red and black wires of my lambdalink but now where do the green and white wires go? I was going to wire the green to the shield wire on the ecu harness and the white wire to the signal wire on the harness of the ecu (the oxygen sensor wires). Is this correct?

Bob recommended connecting the blac/green to the same earth point (ecu bolt or sensor ground on ECU).

Red to live ECU feed

White to O2 sensor signal wire on ECU.

If you have located the signal wire from lambda sensor to ECU bare some insulation back preferably without cutting through the cable within close proximity of the ECU then solder the White wire to it covering with insulating tape etc. The Green wire is best mounted to the engine block as per lambda link instructions ;)

is the sensor ground the same as the sensor shield wire??

There's still some doubt about where the best place to mount the earth is on the Scooby as the earth varies from engine block, chassis and ECU.

Bob Rawle is the main Link Dealer in the UK and recommends both earths are attached to the ECU bolt. You could argue that since the O2 sensor is grounded back to the ECU, that's the best place to ground the LambdaLink.

There's sensor signal and sensor shield. AFAIK shield = ground.

is the ecu power supply called the control module power supply? or is it the backup power supply? in other words should it be live when the ignition is off or not?

I can only really give advice on my own ECU type (AE801), so double-check your pinouts.

Yes, basically you want the LambdaLink to come on with the Ignition.

The "live" feed for my ECU is referred to as Ignition Switch (B136 pin 25)
The sensor common grounds are referred to as Sensor Gnds (B136 pin 24)
The O2 sensor signal wire is referred to as Oxygen Sensor Signal (B136 pin 21)
The O2 shield wire is referred to as Oxygen Sensor Signal (B136 pin 30)

It was suggested that I either use the Sensor Gns wire for both black and Green wires or the ECU lower bracket bolt.

There's both an O2 shield pin and Sensor Ground pin, but everyone suggests using the Sensor Ground. No one AFAIK has ever referred to the Oxygen Sensor Shield wire on the ECU.
