I'm down here in Hatfield, and being the dumb American that I am (studying abroad here from Jan-Jun), I cannot find out a good place to stay. Does anyone have any clue how I can find a cheap hostel or hotel for me and my lady-friend? I've searched all over online and can't find a place cheaper that 30 pounds a night for each of us (that is about $114 USD for the two of us!!!) So, if you guys could help at all by giving phone numbers or suggestion, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm really excited to see my first rally. Cheers!

oooh i would offer you a room FOC but sadly it's not my house, it's full & i'm out erm can't think of any real cheap places off the top of my head, have you tried http://search.yell.com/search/DoSearch

that is about the cheapest you will find. is that 30 per person per night? maybe a travel lodge or a travel inn would be better for you? they are normally about 45 per night thats for a double room. they also have a sofa type bed in them and extra facilities of a cot if you need it.
search on yell.com for this also as i dont know web address to hand.
