For the first time in its 55 year history, the MotoGP World Championship will now be commemorated by a prestigious trophy, which will record the names of all the future winners of the oldest and most celebrated motorsport on the planet. Created by top international sculptor Lorenzo Quinn, son of the legendary Hollywood actor and artist Anthony Quinn, the spectacular trophy brings the MotoGP World Championship in line with a host of similarly illustrious sporting events which remember their champions in such a fashion.
The sculpture weighs in at 30kg and measures 70cm in height. A detailed bronze carving depicts the distinguished and unique history of the MotoGP World Championship and its lasting global appeal, whilst the titanium and carbon-fibre base represents the state-of-the-art technology which guarantees its long and prosperous future
