Hi there, I know a few people have fitted these Genesis subs to the rear shelf as an alternative to a boxed sub in the boot. I've just got myself a JL Audio e6450 amp and am going to be getting some front components, most prob some Focals.

What's causing me the biggest headache though is deciding on whether to go for a boxed sub in the boot or the Genesis in the shelf. My concern is that on mine being a MY00 saloon a boxed sub may not get much sound into the cabin whereas the Genesis should. If anyone hear has them fitted that I could come and have a listen to it would be much appreciated!! Really need to decide on this asap so I can start to get my stuff fitted!

I'm not a million miles away in Surbiton any good? I've got a 95 Classic saloon. Focal component fronts & Genesis 6x9 Rear subs. Powered by a 4 x 100 Genesis amp.

Hi Vince that sounds like just the setup I was thinking of so yes would be great to take a listen to your car! Can't think of exactly where you are now though - is it Surrey way? How long from Watford would you say?
