supertouring 15 March 2004, 09:27 Top day out, and I learnt so much - mainly that I am a crap driver!
The fun bit was when the instructor drove my car to show me how far away from the limit I was - now that was a brown trouser moment if ever there was one!
My stall was laid out as normal, but no takers again.:(
willy 15 March 2004, 09:34 LOL at Dai...
When is Curborough????
I want to see what the handling is like on the limit....

Mad Scientist 15 March 2004, 10:45 Might come but had some bad news yesterday.
Was thrashing it up Long Hill when I heard a whistling noise. Turned out to be a split hose off the actuator. The result of this is that i've been running FAR too much boost and potentially caused some internal damage. Need to get it checked out. Going to post in technical for some advice. Gav will remember I said my turbo was rattling. This has now stopped so the question is was the turbo trying to commit suicide or was it dett?? WHY DID I SELL MY GAUGES AND KNOCKLINK!
you didnt need to do another trackday to learn that dai, you could've asked us, we know already :)
curborough should be sometime april/may. andy_s is sorting it out, if he can ever get to leave work that is!
sorry to hear the news pete, hope you get it sorted soon, sounds to me though like your BIG END HAS GONE :)
off out now for a blast over strines moor, see you soon guys,
chris.
Mad Scientist 15 March 2004, 11:28 HAHA! LOL at Chris!
Thats what a kid on a bike told me in Buxton too!
Forgot that I would have hit fuel cut preventing massive overboost, which I haven't................hopefully all will be OK.

Yes, the scoob engine is a bit tougher than they are made out....
You know what its like on SN... a slight misfire has everyone posting saying how "terminal" it is...
Fingers crossed you`ll be ok...
