EAST COAST POSERS CHARITY RUN SUNDAY 2ND MAY.
Come on then lets stretch those Scooby legs after the winter gloom & do some good at the same time.
THE PLAN
Arrive Thurrock Services 9:00am to leave for 9:30am.
M25 A12 first stop Copdock Services for approx. 10:45am leaving 11:15am.
A12 onto Great Yarmouth stopping at Citygrove Retail Park, Gapton Hall Road for approx. 1:00pm leaving 1:30pm.
Then the fun begins leave Great Yarmouth with a quick blast down the sea front keeping to the coast road. A149 Caister and then picking up the B1159 to Cromer and then the A149 round to Hunstanton for approx. 3:30pm. Any one who knows this area will know this coast road is excellent. Maps will be posted shortly.
With the various stops on the way you don’t have to do the whole route if you don’t want but it would be great if you can. There are plans to contact local radio and TV (Norfolk) for some coverage & promotion hopefully of this charity linked event.
After the success of the Children in Need Convoy ( £ 900.00 raised ) in November last year the beneficiaries this time will be Cancer Research UK and The Macmillan Nurses. These two have been nominated as it is fair to say that most if not all of us know of a friend or relative that have been affected by this disease .
Each car would be asked to donate £ 5.00 and there will also be a sponsorship form, hopefully downloadable, so you can get sponsored per mile if you so wish.
It should be a wicked ride out over some interesting roads.Get yer names down below :-
1) Tiny
2) Flat Eric
A special mention must go out to Tubb's & Flat Eric, For getting this on!!;)
