Question

Having been assisted greatly by info on the BB, I have just ordered a 4 door MY00 from Holland for delivery in June or July.
I quite recently sold an EVO5 as I found it to be far harsher to drive at normal speeds than a British Spec Impreza.
I am debating changing to 17" alloys (purely for looks) but would appreciate any comments relative to the implications in terms of drive comfort.

I have a MY97 car, with 17" wheels and Prodrive suspension pack! Ouch, Ouch!!!

If the suspension is being kept standard, then you really shouldn't have any problems, unless you're doing silly speeds in a road full of pot holes!! Like outside PE!!!!

Oh, besides a harsher ride, you will probably get some tramlining as well!

Just my thoughts!

Dave,

Your money would be better spent on Brakes and Suspension upgrades.
