Hi everybody

I have a 98 MY which is about 15 months old and my standard 16 inch wheels are starting to look a bit tatty.They are corroding mainly on the leading edges of the spokes.

This has become more noticeable since the roads have been gritted,its as though the salt is reacting with the brake dust.
Other alloy wheels I've had in the past have lasted much better.
Is anybody else having the same problem and if you are did you manage to get them replaced under warranty?
I have a clean wheel fetish so any help is much appreciated
