Default Kenwood Music Keg MP3 player

does this play gapless .mp3 or .wma

I only really listen to continuous DJ music and all the current HDD devices including the Ipod can't play gapless music.

I don't know about the music keg specifically but it is based on the Phatnoise music box.

www.phatnoise.com

At a guess, no it doesn't do it.

Haven't tested gapless playback on the Keg. Be aware that content navigation on the Keg is *horrible*. You assign playlists, albums, etc., to virtual discs. You enter a disc number *then* you get to see the name of the item assigned to it.

Dension has near gapless playback on their units. There's a slight stutter between tracks but not enough to take a mix out of beat.

Ripping using iTunes has an option to define crossfade playback and gaps between songs when burning a CD.
