A cousin of mine is Ireland bound in a couple of weeks time. As per the question, also how long should it take by road and what sort of roads are they?? (And don't say long and black :D!!!)

From memory the roads are reasonable and should take you about 3.5 hrs.

I have done it in 3 hours....roads aint bad plus the new bypass has opened at Kildare so this has knocked a bit of time off...it is about 150 to 160 miles
