M8 NNY 27 February 2004, 11:13 Will hopfully be attending not practacing missus would not appreciate our family wagon drifting :D do you think rob will attented you know him ??
Alan
I think we spoke at scooby shootout
kanseikid 27 February 2004, 13:23 your wagon will be perfectly fine we have got rob and my father doing it as well as paul randell but he is in australlia at the moe and he will be using a wagon as well so of course u can use ur wagon as all subaru's are welcome as we want to take over the drifting coz they are all rwd so if a 4wd won it that would be great steve
555ROB 28 February 2004, 23:02 Well said 'Kansei Kid' and yes manny we will be there sunday14th march,
After speaking to Dean today he has come up with a name for us drifter's,
How would you all like to join the " Opposite Lock Drift Club" or the O.P.L.drift club for short:D.
Please give some feed back on the idea and also we would like to show the O.P.T. Drift Club..(Option Motorsport) that us AWD boys can hang the R-SEND out as well as the skyline and nsx folkes:D
This will be a good day out at Silverstone that sunday and even if you dont want to run your motor it will be a cool spectator day to see some big powerfull cars going sideways and keeping under control!!! thats the theory anyhow!!
All those who wish to drift in your scoob should register your intention here with the topic starter (Kansei Kid) and for those who just want to watch then please consider yourself invited!!!:D
ROB

ROB...
kanseikid 03 March 2004, 10:56 we have found some pictures of subaru's sliding around the bend but they won't be ready 4 the practise session as we might not attend as we are slightly short on cash for that event as we ave just bought a new car for the missis but difently at the first competion but ill post if we are coming as we would like to see how gud every1 is
kanseikid

scooby_si 09 March 2004, 20:02 Rob et al any thoughts on a convoy, route etc to journey over to Silverstone?
Any idea what the crack is with video cameras in car or owt i noticed it says no loose items in car & i vaguely recall most track days saying no videos in car?
Si
555ROB 09 March 2004, 22:55 What we need si is a window mount of likes of Gadget Daz...he has a mount that will hold your camera to the windowscreen i think this is acceptable at most track days si, i.e. Bedford and Donnington both aprove of them..
Can't wait to show you all how i get it all pete tong!!!!
ROB..
555ROB 09 March 2004, 22:59 Convoy sounds good si but can we all get up early enough!!!!!

scooby_si 09 March 2004, 23:35 yeah get there for 08:00 so i guess Watford gap would be only option? & i wana fill up with juice just before we get there (& probably during the day;)) i believe there is a shell 6 miles from the main Silverstone fun & games :D
