Have just had a new set of pads fitted to My P1 only for the dealer to find one of the bushes from the track rod split and dumped on the undertray.

Has anyone else had a problem like this??? Are there uprated bushes availiable??? or am I just unlucky.

Answered your question in FAQ, but basically we developed a fix involving nothing more than a cable tie on each side.

Oh... and it'll be the ARB bushes, not trackrod.

The ARB bushes on the P1 are sh1te, I blew 3 sets out by the 2nd service on mine, they split and ooze out the side of the bracket, then the ARB knocks up and down on braking/accelerating.

Order some Group N ones, they last much longer (i.e. I haven't worn them out in 10,000 miles)

Couldn't say thanks in the SIDC FAQ not allowed to post replies So thanks have passed on the info to the dealer hope to get it sorted.

And yes it is the ARB bushes, will ask the dealer if they will replace with these Group N types instead under warranty.
