Sad observation I know but...... this thread and Webmaster's one at the top now increases view numbers (presumably to record accurate number of views) but others don't. For example if I look at any of the threads lower down the list the view number does not change. It seems the only difference is that Webmaster, Simon, has added a comment to each of these threads thus releasing the view "counter". Strange but true :D

You'll find that this is because the new SN engine remembers when you have viewed a thread and so increments the counter the first time you visit a thread, but doesn't everytime thereafter. This way you get a much truer picture of how many people have actually viewed a thread.
