Sorry if this is a frequently asked question but I'm in need of some help! I have a gauge pod on the way for my 98 turbo (52mm) and want to fit the usual bost, oil temp / press gauges. I did have a SN thread bookmarked that contained a link to company selling said gauges for around the £40 mark.
However, with the onset of the new SN site this bookmark no longer works and I've lost the link
(I think this co. was based at castle combe
Can anybody suggest a supplier for these at this sort of price? I want them to be white faced and if possible match the std instrumentation as much as possible!
Cheers,
Matt

I bought Autometer Ultralites - Oil Press, Oil Temp, AFR from US and cost me £95 including shipping. Also bought an Ultralite boost gauge also from US for less than £30 including shipping. Up to 14 days to ship but usually under a week.
The plastic pods cost more than the gauges!

Cheers Edd, did you order from the Autometer site direct or a US Stockists site??
Matt
Edit to say did they come with the fittings needed in the engine bay or did you source those seperatly?

Not from Autometer direct but from a company called Competition Wharehouse. I found them on Ebay and asked for a price for the three gauges and shipping.
Only problem was I waited about a week and no package so mailed them. 48 hours later they came back to say the package had left the day I mail them - I think they forgot personally hence not mentioning their name straight away. They gave me the USPS number and I was able to track the item from the USPS website. Took about a week to arrive.
You could give them a try or have a look on the net. Always use a credit card or if possible try and use paypal as you have an reduce the risk of being out of pocket after all you are giving someone you don't know in another country £100 pounds!
/edit all parts were included but you need an extra pipe made up for the oil press as it fouls the alternator and an adapter for the oil temp sender above piston 3. http://www.chiark.com/scooby/gauges_boost.asp this is good info

If you get the Autometer ones [like me] then you need a pipe adapter from scoobymania for £18+vat for the oil pressure, and for the oil temp if you plan to use the gallery plug above cylinder 3 then you will need part no. LMA067 from Lemans Motorsport for £3.70inc vat.
This all applies for a MY00 car but I would have thought that all classics have the same siza threads on the block.

My gauges were only £40 or thereabouts and they are Autometer ultralites white faced with silver bezel.
Ring Realsteel.

scoobymania have the defi guages for around the £100 pound mark. not the cheapest around but DEFI-nately the best looking.

The credit card doesn't like the idea of defi's ;)
Also the car is std engine wise apart from exhaust so don't feel the defi system (as good at is) is vital, good old mechanical gauges are the way forward I think :)
