Is there anything I can do to fix this ???

It's 22.11 and i'm on BTOpenworld broadband and it's like pulling teeth. It's the slowest web access i've seen for years.

I've tried going to other sites and they are fine (as a selection ...yahoo, bbc, scoobycity, littleknocks).
