Done it on mine. Excellant results. Naff all *power-on* understeer 'cos the front hardly lifts - as they say in the brouchure.
Do it.
Dave
PS: it is not a general cure-all for all understeer issues in case you thoguht it was - just the understeer that arises from the front lifting under power.
Hi all,
I have been convinced to get bumpsteer sorted out for my UK '99 car.
Would it be worthwhile to get an ALK fitted at the same time? - I want to tune my car for track work. I have searched through the archives, but there seems to be varied opinion on the benefits of fitting an ALK.
Thanks
Sonu

Is this the famous Power Station bump thing and do they fit the ALK as well? Oh and if so bout how much?
TY
Ian
Ian,
yes it is the PowerS jobbie. They quoted me £100 + VAT for bumpsteer and £120 + VAT for the ALK.
Thanks

Driven a Scooby with the ALK and it was great!!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
I'm going for this myself later in the year (had an argument with mu insurance co and they wouldn't alow the mod http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif). At least that way I've had a chance to guage the Bump Steer Mod by itself and then will be able to guage the Bump Steer plus ALK. Having said that, I'll also be getting uprated Anti-Roll bars and Eibachs so that may muddy the waters some what.
Do it, give Powerstation a call - you won't regret it!!!
Matt.
