Recently been offered a set of Tein HR suspension units.

I beleive that these would probably be a bit harsh on long journeys, so if i was to change the springs (being 2 1/4" dia), what poundage would you reccomend?

I would be fitting them onto a Type R, generally used for 60 motorway miles a day, the Sunday blast http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif and the odd track day.

I currently have Bozz spec dampers and HKS springs which are fine on the softest settings, the only problem being that two of the dampers are slightly bent (not done by me) and i can not set the geometry correctly.

I understand that you have to have `Helper` springs as well which are rated at 30lb.

Any help appreciated, as i don`t want to waste anymore money http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Paul

The harshness is mainly caused by the dampening...

Changing the spring rates wont really help..

But anyway...the leda run 275 fronts... 225 backs...
