Had just paid for advertising, 1 months subscription, advertised the WRC Alcons i have and my current car (RB5). I log back on only to find 1 scoobynet has moved to a different location and 2 my threads have gone?
Why is this?
Sorry if it sounds cheecky and rude, its just that i might loose out on a sale because the threads no longer exsist!
Can you resurect them please!
Cheers

RB5 - no idea why your car for sale thread was moved to accessories. I can only assume that was a geniune mistake (not guilty! :) ). The brakes I can understand as we are trying to keep things a little more organised within the For Sale forums. I've moved you car thread back.
The change of address for Scoobynet has been made for technical reasons which I'm sure Simon and Shaun could tell you more about. It has nothing to do with the For Sale forum.
A lot of the changes made to 'For Sale' were done at the request of the members. Obviously these things take a little bit of time to get right and we're still trying to find the right balance between the number of forums, the speed at which items move etc etc. Bear with us on that. As to the other comments - thanks for your support guys  Simon and Shaun have been working solidly on Scoobynet now for over two weeks.
They've implemented new servers, new databases, new software etc. There are going to be a few problems. It's a massively complex operation moving a site of this size. Optimisation of database software such as MySQL alone takes a lot of time (regardless of anything else) and I would expect things to gradually improve.

Aye sorry for my comments, its only because I love the site, just takes some getting used to I guess.

:) Understood - it's always the same. The fact of the matter is, eventually Scoobynet would grind to a halt if steps weren't taken to improve the speed of the servers / databases / software etc.
This is always a painful process (working in IT myself, I can vouch for the sleepless nights that Shaun and Simon have almost certainly had). When you consider that they both have full time day jobs, it makes their efforts even more amazing (and given what they've achieved in a relatively short space of time, even more impressive).
