your prize is ;) to think of a topic for round 4 :D when you have could you post it along with the rules :)

1. No image will be greater than 800 pixels along its longest side.
2. Image overall will not exceed 120kb.
3. Image must have been taken within the competition period, which is from 20th Jan to midnight on 15th Feb.
4. Each submitter can change their posted image at any time (using edit function).
5. Maximum of two (2) images per submitter, per competition.
6. Digital manipulation is permitted in order to correct technical issues such as dust or noise on the image. It is not permitted to add or remove elements of the image or to apply digital 'effects'.
7. Image must be hosted so that it appears correctly in the competition thread and must remain so for the period of the competition including voting. Any images that do not appear correctly won't poll may votes, obviously.
8. Image must be titled but not on the image itself. I.e. some bold text naming the image should be posted at the same time as the image itself. In addition, any details of the image itself should also be posted (this is a learning exercise after all). E.g. EXIF data or maybe just aperture, shutter speed, equipment used.
9. There will be no posts in the competition thread other than those for the posting of competition images. All discussion should be held in other threads.
10. Judges decision is final.
11. Images will meet the requirements of the ScoobyNet T&Cs

Cheers and once again well done

I'm Homerdog (well, I am on the MLR, Matt Churchill must have thought I was on here too!). Thanks to all those who voted for me, Andy's topic was very challenging. I'll try and come up with something equally interesting, just bear with me!

Mr Cookie, should the closing date for the next round be 15th March?

Congratulations Daryl! You've captured the spirit of the theme perfectly - I like the toaster especially. Nice one :)

There was a suggestion that it might keep things fresh if we don't run each round for as long - I'm sure there was a good week or so where no new entries appeared at all. Ultimately, though, this round's yours - so it's your decision!

Mr Cookie: another suggestion - why not have the poll for individual photos rather than photographers next time? It's not really fair on anyone who only submits one entry, and I'd be interested to see which particular photos are getting the votes. (What does everyone else think?)

Looking forward to round 4 - bring it on :D

Andy

It's really strange you saying that andy because i was going to suggest it was done like this next time

Image name - Persons name
Image name - Persons name
Image name - Persons name
Image name - Persons name
Image name - Persons name etc etc

and then tally the votes up for that person but i like your idea better :D

As for the date i'm easy (but we all new that ;) ) how does the 10th sound to everyone, gives us all 20 days plus it's 4 before my birthday ;)
Like i've always said i only suggested a comp :D i very happy to go along with the majority :)

Well done Daryl a good topic choice my brain already hurts :D

I agree with the idea of voting for a particular photo, but then what do I know, I haven't entered so far.... :D
