Right..we got a good turn out for the last EBH meet, but...

That new speed bump on the way into the stables hasn't done our cars any favours...

So, for the next meet...

Do we wait until they've fixed the bump ?? (as they said they will, not sure when though)

Or find a temporary venue ? (as i'd like to keep using the Stables)

I'm hoping to get another meet for perhaps the 26th March (which i'll throw up a post nearer the time).

OR...do we just keep using the Stables and not bother about leaving our exhausts behind ??

Opinions pleeeeeease.

 

My exhaust cleared so I'm ok with the stables , but am happy to head somewhere else for a change. The GTR certainly wouldn't make it in there now so no more pax trips until the bumps been lowered a bit !
No idea about venues though. Steading at Hillend ?? Flotterstone Inn ?? Cockatoo nr Danderhall ? I only really know pubs on my side of town, but all these have reasonable parking.
Any other ideas ?

 

p.s. the 26th is a Friday. Do you mean the 27th ??

I'm quite happy to stay at Stables...it's just i've had to adjust my exhaust after lastime...

Dave..maybe you could go round everynight and have a few beers...just to check the bump ???

 

Not a bad idea actually. And if I take the Skyline, the bump will get gradually lower everyday too !!

What about invading the nova and the saxo boys (not our saxo boy) party at our nearest McDonalds.

Or perhaps terrorising the elderly as they sit outside Portobello Town Hall

LOL... The stables will never be a problem, it's those dodgy clubs that don't serve the drinks properly that cause the problems
And anyway, getting in was fine - it was staying in that was a bit trickier !!

no problem me getting in, i will be driving my bx turbo diesel!! just the thing for speed bumps, cokeys skyline has swallowed it new r34 engine, so he will be there in his 405 estate, also diesel!! not seen anyone in ages, working my butt off just now, saving hard for a................
