I've just bought 3 Defi BF guages for my 98 classic.
I'll be mounting them using a centre dash pod, but, where should i put the Control Unit ?
Any suggestions ?
I want it to look as neat as possible.
Thanks
Johnny

How's this?
When it was taken, the plastic covering was still on the front of the control unit.

Hi MATE,
iV'E just fitted mine where Alcalzer reccommended, in the cup holder, a bit of work to get it in there but it is worth it as it is a perfect fit, and made for the job.

Alcalzer,
Thanks for your help in helping me out a few weeks ago, but i meant to ask you about the plastic on the front of the control unit. I can't work out if it is meant to be peeled of or not? My missus says it isn't as it is protecting the buttons fron wear, but i have tried one corner and now bubbled it up, normally the protective film on things comes of dead easy but this seems as if it wasn't meant to come off.
Sorry for hijacking your thread mate.
James.

James, the protective film is exactly that. The primary use is to stop it from being scratched when the unit is being installed into those small easy to scratch spaces.
Once the unit is fitted into place you can take the film off and see how lovely new surface comes to life compared to having the dull protective film cover on it (it's like the plastic films you can get on the glass on some products like watches and alarm clocks...you don't leave these on do you?? :D) Moreover the top surface of the unit (buttons) is made from durable plastic sheeting and it will be fine to clean with the wipe of a wet cloth so no worries about taking it off unless you're edward scissorhand!

Thanks for your replys fellas. :)
Seems a good place to put it actually, either there or where the ashtry holder is.
