Never thought I post this sort of question on Scoobynet, but here goes.
Looking at doing a major decking project myself. Logical brain to work out what's required but stuff all practical ability to saw wood accurately with a hand saw.
So I'm looking a buying either a table saw or a compound mitre saw, the one that comes down on the wood then you push it across.
Both do mitres/bevel cuts. Mitre saw advantage is that it will be easier to cut long planks in half, shortways, table saw advantage is that you can cut long planks in half longways.
Which would you get?
Ta folks.
