Hi chaps

I know its short notice but my mate has hired the above track for this Thursday 12th Feb, and have had a few drop outs so there are 3 spaces left to fill. The price is 328 quid for the day between 10 people max, so thats 32.80 each if we get 10 people. Track time is 10am - 1pm, and 2pm till 5pm.

You will need a helmet and overalls(doesn't have to be flame retardent) to compete.

Below is a link to a write up for some other Scooby owners who had a day out there so you can see whether you like it

And also a link to there homepage:

www.curborough.co.uk

And a link to some mpegs of people going round the track, most are in 2001 section:

If anyone is interested please reply here or PM me and we can arrange a meeting place early Thursday morning.

We (SMACS) had a great day at this fantastic little track last year, and for 30 odd quid you cannot get it cheaper. I would love to come but it is a bit short notice, but will bring it to the attenion of the other guys incase anyone else is up for it.

Have fun, and try and keep it on the black stuff, which many of us failed to do when we were there (see photos on other thread)!

damn damn damn, wish I could make this, had a cracking day there last year, and look forward to our trip soon, you listening andy?
on the subject of overalls and helmets, we didn't actually bother with either! got on just fine, although by the end of the day, as we were getting tired and going a little too fast, it may have been a good idea :)
have a great day guys, cant wait till its our "official" turn,

We all had a wonderful time and with 'virtually' no offs (Logan).

Taught my missus to powerslide.

Scared loads of folks.

Met loads of top folks, inc the guy with the M reg UK late on.

Cheers everyone and hope you all enjoyed the laugh that was my Carlton Beast.

RRH, do you know it is an EVO MAGAZINE novice trackday this saturday at oulton park? I told john about this yesterday, and he's not going now, something about not being able to get a descent lap in, with loads of newbies on track:(

Yup, was a good day, excellent little track, was greasy and wet which was good for some powe sliding in the Scoob, until I got a bit carried away and came off, managing to bend an alloy and take some plastic off the underside:(

Good to meet you Dave and RRH for coming along late afternoon for a chat.

RRH, did you do oulton? was it busy?
blacky555uk, curborough is a awesome little track, just the ticket for a spring and play with the scoob, we'll be there in march hopefully,
chris
