View Full Version : Black 205 1.9 GTi for Sale met 09 February 2004, 01:03 *l* --- Trem 09 February 2004, 12:14 :D Excellent ending to your post, made me laugh. Where are you based and would you take a Saab 9000 turbo as a little part exchange(I mean I dont want much for it) PhilA 09 February 2004, 14:08 Just a quick note, when the 1.6 rear axle was fitted why didn't you/the garage put the discs back on, it's an easy job, just need to knock out the axle stubs in the end and put the 1.9 one's on from your old axle. tonybooth 09 February 2004, 14:45 I have just sold mine for £1400.00 with slightly more miles (88K) I put it in Auto Trader at £1475.00 and sold it to the first caller. I must have had 20+ calls for it. These are becoming rare in good condition and are popular as both track cars and modern classics. Cheers TONY Keigo 09 February 2004, 17:17 Where are you basedm met? May be interested. PhilA 09 February 2004, 23:29 Tony's right. A tidy 205 will fetch the right price in the trader. There is loads for sale cheap but you know why.. Good luck with the sale. Trem 25 February 2004, 00:01 Im after a bike I meant :D StiX 25 February 2004, 13:22 Im after a bike I meant :D Sorry for the hijack, but even though I have registered I can't seem to do bugger all? As in send Trem a PM etc. or do a search for his posts? Trem - how much is the Saab worth and what bike are you after? I am possibly swapping from bike to car. My bike is worth £1850 - well thats what I paid for it 3 months ago. VFR 750 J-Reg, and its been restored. Needs nothing apart from an oil change. http://www.hondavfrclub.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=24111&perpage=15&pagenumber=2 Thanks. Sorry met!! Trem 25 February 2004, 13:41 I'm in negotiations with a fella about his Yamaha xt 600. I would dearly love a VFR, my child hood dream bike. BUT the problem is I ain't passed my test yet, could I learn on a 750? I used to ride bikes..........................then I got banned. Getting the bug again though. I want a bike and a cheap run about. met 25 February 2004, 13:46 thats ok, i need to delete this thread now, as the car is going on to have 2 driveshafts replaced & lowered, then on to the cage & stripping out & bucket seats, taking it to snetterton this weekend for a mini blast :) so in the absence of a buyer that appreciates this car it stays (for now) StiX 25 February 2004, 14:09 I'm in negotiations with a fella about his Yamaha xt 600. Getting the bug again though. I want a bike and a cheap run about. You could learn on anything, but passing your test would be easier on something like a CB500 or ER5 - did mine on a CB. Only because of the f***ing u-turn though, I hated doing them when I was training - as if you ever do them in the real world ffs! I had never ridden a bike before I did the training. One day CBT on 125s, and two days on a CB500 was all it took. Scraped the test and been learning to ride properly since. |
