Hi, I'm wanting to wire in a pressure switch to activate an Intercooler water spray system and I need some help with the wiring!

Basically, I have a switch which will take an Ignition+ and Earth.
This will go to the Pressure Switch
Then on to the Water Pump.

My query is: the switch is only rated at 0.5A current and 0.25A Inductive load. Now, I have not got a clue what that means, but I am worried that I may need some kind of Relay/Resistor in the circuit!??? :o

How do I know what to add (if anything) and where to put it in the wiring?

An inductive load would be your pump motor.
A resistive load would be a lamp for example.

The inductive Current rating is lower than resistive because motors and inductive loads tend to make contacts spark when the circuit is broken reducing contact life.

Anyway, as long as your motor draws less than the rated 1/4A you will be fine.
You could put a snubber across the motor terminals to reduce the sparking and you will be able to use the switch closer to the 1/2A rating.
